Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sam Moyer could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,257.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Moyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flo's Fern in September last year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sam Moyer konnte im März 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.257,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Moyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flo's Fern im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 43.790,25).
