In July 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/ NYC, which included this untitled work by Ryan Estep. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,067.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Estep - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,119.63).

Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/ NYC durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ryan Estep zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.067,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Estep mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.119,63) versteigert wurde.
