Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sterilized Dirt Ba5 by Ryan Estep was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 882.00 (€ 1,026.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryan Estep achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,119.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sterilized Dirt Ba5 von Ryan Estep kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 882,00 (€ 1.026,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryan Estep erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.119,63).
