Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Re-Stretched No. 3 by Ryan Estep for USD 445.00 (€ 409.31). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryan Estep achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,119.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Re-Stretched No. 3 von Ryan Estep für USD 445,00 (€ 409,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryan Estep erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.119,63).
