Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Re-Stretched Yellow & White by Ryan Estep for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,724.42). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Estep - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,119.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Re-Stretched Yellow & White von Ryan Estep für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.724,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Estep mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No. 3 From the Silica Sand Series beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.119,63) versteigert wurde.
