Auction result well in line with expectations
The work World #21 by Ruud van Empel was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,710.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruud van Empel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy & Girl in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 111,926.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit World #21 von Ruud van Empel wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.710,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruud van Empel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy & Girl im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 111.926,78).
