Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bowl by Rupert Spira was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,592.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rupert Spira - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Large Open Bowl, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,110.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bowl von Rupert Spira kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.592,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rupert Spira mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Large Open Bowl beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.110,08) versteigert wurde.
