The work Large Jar by Rupert Spira was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,650.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rupert Spira; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Large Open Bowl sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,110.08).

Die Arbeit Large Jar von Rupert Spira wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.650,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rupert Spira; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Large Open Bowl im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.110,08).
