Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Jug And Eight Beakers Nine Pieces by Rupert Spira for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,340.03). This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain / Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rupert Spira - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Large Open Bowl, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,110.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Jug And Eight Beakers Nine Pieces von Rupert Spira für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.340,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in Britain / Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rupert Spira mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Large Open Bowl beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.110,08) versteigert wurde.
