Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Roland Flexner for USD 563.00 (€ 452.65). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Roland Flexner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work SN39 in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 3,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Roland Flexner für USD 563,00 (€ 452,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Flexner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit SN39 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.500,00.
