Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled (2) by Roland Flexner was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in February 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,500.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,750.00. Other works by Roland Flexner have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2016 by the work SN39 at EUR 3,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled (2) von Roland Flexner im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Roland Flexner wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit SN39 mit EUR 3.500,00.
