This artwork by Robert ParkeHarrison achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2013. In the Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana auction, the work Selected Images sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,289.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert ParkeHarrison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspension, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert ParkeHarrison erzielte im April 2013 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana wurde die Arbeit Selected Images für USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.289,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert ParkeHarrison mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suspension beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77) versteigert wurde.
