The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,502.06) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert ParkeHarrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspension in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Oppenheimer'S Garden' von Robert ParkeHarrison wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.502,06) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert ParkeHarrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspension im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77).
