Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Photographs, which included the work 'Reliquary' (From Architect'S Brother, Promisedland) by Robert ParkeHarrison. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,654.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert ParkeHarrison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspension, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77).
