Auction result misses estimated price range

In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Remembering Water by Robert ParkeHarrison for USD 375.00 (€ 318.50). This price was achieved in the auction The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert ParkeHarrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suspension in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Remembering Water von Robert ParkeHarrison für USD 375,00 (€ 318,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert ParkeHarrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suspension im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77).
