Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Column, Two Positions, 1961 by Robert Morris was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,727.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,258,500.00 (€ 965,403.50).
