Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Model, from 'Ten from Leo Castelli' by Robert Morris. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 760.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,258,500.00 (€ 965,403.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Model, from 'Ten from Leo Castelli' von Robert Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 760,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Morris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.258.500,00 (€ 965.403,50).
