The work Pattie Boyd by Robert Freeman was sold in the Contemporary, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2011. The auction ended at the price of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,650.19), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Freeman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work With The Beatles, 1963, which sold at auction in May 2010 for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,393.65).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Pattie Boyd von Robert Freeman wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.650,19) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Freeman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit With The Beatles, 1963 beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.393,65) versteigert wurde.
