The work Paul McCartney and John Lennon, relaxing during a recording session at EMI Abbey Road recording studios, c. 1965 by Robert Freeman was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 729.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Freeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work With The Beatles, 1963 in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,393.65).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 729,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
