A top price for Robert Freeman - as previously expected
In May 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work With The Beatles, 1963 by Robert Freeman. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,393.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, With The Beatles, 1963 is the most expensive artwork by Robert Freeman that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit With The Beatles, 1963 von Robert Freeman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.393,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist With The Beatles, 1963 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robert Freeman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
