Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Meet the Beatles, 1963. by Robert Freeman was auctioned at Koller in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 438.00 (€ 408.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Freeman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work With The Beatles, 1963 in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,393.65).

Die Arbeit Meet the Beatles, 1963. von Robert Freeman kam im Dezember 2016 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 438,00 (€ 408,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Freeman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit With The Beatles, 1963 im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.393,65).
