Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work Mirroring Twins by Rob Scholte. The price achieved of EUR 5,670.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rob Scholte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overspel (Adultery) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirroring Twins von Rob Scholte zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.670,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Scholte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
