The work Illustratie (Illustration) by Rob Scholte was worth EUR 40,000.00 to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rob Scholte; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Overspel (Adultery) sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 40,320.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rob Scholte; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 40.320,00.
