Die Arbeit Kofferman (Suitcase Man) von Rob Scholte kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Scholte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
