This artwork by Rob Scholte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2017. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rob Scholte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Overspel (Adultery), which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 40,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rob Scholte erzielte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rob Scholte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für EUR 40.320,00 versteigert wurde.
