Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Presence Black Circle by Richard Pousette-Dart was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 300,000.00 (€ 272,257.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Pousette-Dart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blood Wedding in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,489,111.91).

Die Arbeit Untitled Presence Black Circle von Richard Pousette-Dart kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 272.257,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Pousette-Dart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blood Wedding im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.489.111,91).
