This artwork by Richard Oelze achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2021. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Meine Nacht Hat Keinen Mond (In Grünem Licht) sold for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 102,789.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Oelze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wald, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 325,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Oelze erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Meine Nacht Hat Keinen Mond (In Grünem Licht) für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 102.789,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Oelze mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wald beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 325.000,00 versteigert wurde.
