Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Frühland (Amphibienlandschaft, Höven) by Richard Oelze was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 59,754.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Oelze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wald in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 325,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Frühland (Amphibienlandschaft, Höven) von Richard Oelze kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 59.754,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Oelze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wald im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.000,00.
