Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Core by Richard Dupont was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,349.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Dupont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Them in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 26,016.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Core von Richard Dupont kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.349,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Dupont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Them im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 26.016,50).
