A top price for Richard Dupont - as previously expected
The work Them by Richard Dupont was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2011. The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 26,016.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Them is the most expensive artwork by Richard Dupont that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Them von Richard Dupont kam im November 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 26.016,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Them das teuerste Kunstwerk von Richard Dupont, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
