Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Highland Cattle Grazing By A River by Richard Beavis. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,398.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Beavis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Highland Cattle Grazing By A River von Richard Beavis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.398,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Beavis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
