Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Resting by the fire by Richard Beavis. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,274.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Beavis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resting by the fire von Richard Beavis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.274,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Beavis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
