Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Danger ahead by Richard Beavis. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,558.33). Admittedly, works by Richard Beavis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Danger ahead von Richard Beavis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.558,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Beavis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
