Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Richard Beavis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2020. In the British and European Art auction, the work Charge of the 1st Life Guards at Waterloo sold for GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,693.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Beavis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Beavis erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Charge of the 1st Life Guards at Waterloo für GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.693,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Beavis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
