In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 2nd Life Guards at Waterloo by Richard Beavis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,131.33), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Richard Beavis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).

Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2nd Life Guards at Waterloo von Richard Beavis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.131,33) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Beavis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
