This artwork by Reuven Rubin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Musicians of Safed sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,872.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Reuven Rubin erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Musicians of Safed für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.872,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
