Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples Day Sale, which included the work Tetrascroll Deluxe (See Sparks Bf 1-26) by Buckminster Fuller. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,347.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Buckminster Fuller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work Dymaxion Air - Ocean World Map was auctioned for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,348.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tetrascroll Deluxe (See Sparks Bf 1-26) von Buckminster Fuller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.347,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Buckminster Fuller konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2018 die Arbeit Dymaxion Air - Ocean World Map für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.348,19) versteigert.
