In the New Now auction, the work Rubbing Colours sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,230.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. This high result makes Rubbing Colours the most expensive artwork by Polly Apfelbaum that we have observed at auctions so far.
