Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Remake of the Weekend (Stills) by Pipilotti Rist. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,223.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pipilotti Rist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Remake of the Weekend (Stills) von Pipilotti Rist zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.223,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
