Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pipilotti Rist could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm auction, the work "Pickelporno", 1995 changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,478.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pipilotti Rist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pipilotti Rist konnte im Mai 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit "Pickelporno", 1995 für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.478,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
