Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Rosemary) by Piotr Uklański was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,386.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Rosemary) von Piotr Uklański kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 20.386,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
