Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Rosemary) by Piotr Uklański was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,386.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
