Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Piotr Uklański achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Untitled (Ayanomiya) sold for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 22,935.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piotr Uklański erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Ayanomiya) für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 22.935,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
