Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Untitled (Twilight) by Piotr Uklański. The price achieved of GBP 5,080.00 (€ 5,926.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Twilight) von Piotr Uklański zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.080,00 (€ 5.926,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
