Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled (Boats) by Piotr Uklański. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,365.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Boats) von Piotr Uklański zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.365,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
