In December 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Coniyac) by Piotr Uklański. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,506.45), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Coniyac) von Piotr Uklański zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.506,45) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
