Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Piotr Uklański could be acquired at Phillips in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Untitled (Cross-Eyed) changed hands for GBP 24,130.00 (€ 28,152.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piotr Uklański konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Cross-Eyed) für GBP 24.130,00 (€ 28.152,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
