A top price for Pierre Huyghe - as previously expected
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches by Pierre Huyghe. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,469.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches is the most expensive artwork by Pierre Huyghe that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches von Pierre Huyghe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.469,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pierre Huyghe, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
