Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dévoler - 1995 by Pierre Huyghe was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,510.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Huyghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,469.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dévoler - 1995 von Pierre Huyghe wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.510,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Huyghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Streamside Day, Celebration Sketches im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.469,20).
