This work without title by Piero Gilardi was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,420.91), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Gilardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trilite spezzato, which sold at auction in April 2017 for EUR 98,688.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Piero Gilardi wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.420,91) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Gilardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trilite spezzato beobachtet, die im April 2017 für EUR 98.688,00 versteigert wurde.
