Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Neve (Snow) by Piero Gilardi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,186.17), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Piero Gilardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trilite spezzato in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 98,688.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Neve (Snow) von Piero Gilardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.186,17) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Gilardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trilite spezzato im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 98.688,00.
